Facebook Contest Scams

Facebook has become overloaded with SCAMS.
Everything from viruses, fake links, fake people...
You name it - It's on there.
Since this is a contest help blog, we are going to focus on FAKE CONTESTS.
It's things like this, that could have newcomers to the Contest World, feeling discouraged when they never win.
However, it may lead to a lot more than that...
Such as your Facebook account becoming in violation or compromised.

The main "contests" I see roaming my newsfeed are these:

Cars
Jewelry
Clothing
Playstation
Disney Cruise
Disney World Tickets
Disney World Vacations
Apple (iPhones, iPads etc)

Here are some examples of what FACEBOOK SCAMS look like:

Here is another prime example of a FAKE CONTEST.
This is NOT Chevrolet's page...It's not an ANYTHING page!

There are NO RULES or REGULATIONS
This really should be your first sign, that you are about to get duped.
No rules for a CAR giveaway?
Meaning ANYONE, from ANY COUNTRY, regardless of age, having a license etc, can just "Like & Share" this photo for a chance to WIN?
NO

Another thing to take note of is:
WHEN did the page open?...(and what is the date TODAY)

Next, let's notice their "edited" message.

First they are giving away a brand new Chevy Camaro on October 26th.
They then edit their message 23 MORE TIMES to say when the car giveaway will be.

It is mind-numbingly CRAZY the amount of people who fall for this.
Look at the number of "shares"!!
